Dhaka Nexus
Dhaka needs to be planned regionally as part of a larger system of settlements, landscapes and movements. Dhaka Nexus reflects planning the present megacity Dhaka and its regions, especially neighbouring towns in 2-hour travel distance, in an integrated system. In order to reduce the migrational pressure on Dhaka city, new and old urban towns may be developed into more livable and attractive hubs. A new network of mass transportation can link the nodes.
